This pendant light is my interpretation of my brain. When placed in a busy environment with competing light sources, the sculpture casts only faint and fragmented shadows, filtering its intricate beauty. These shadows reflect the layers of overthinking and negative self-talk, hidden parts of myself that often go unnoticed but hold me back.
Yet, in an idyllic setting, free from distractions, the sculpture reveals its true potential. With no competing lights, take a moment to look a little closer, and you’ll notice the intricate detail of the shadows cast by each piece of the sphere, revealing what is truly on display here.
In the same way, when I’m alone in my workshop, free from interference and doubt, I find clarity and flow. It’s in these moments that I reach my full capacity, creating with intention and precision.
